#CatalanGP | Fabio Quartararo shines again in Barcelona!
Second pole position of the year and career for Fabio Quartararo, who will start ahead of everyone on Sunday, with Marc Marquez and Maverick Vinales alongside him
A thrilling qualifying already in the first session, with Franco Morbidelli and Joan Mir getting the spots that let them going into Q2 in a really close ending. Yamaha Petronas rider was the only rider going under the 1.40 and he secured his Q2 spot at his fifth lap, while Joan Mir snatched the second place from Francesco Bagnaia with a great crono in his penultimate chance. Italian rider from Ducati Pramac was out then for just one tenth of a second.

Not the best session for Jack Miller; everyone expected him to get top 2 but he crashed out in his first run, being still able to come back on track with his second bike. The Australian did everything he could but it was not enough to avoid 14th grid position start.
It was then Q2 moment where Fabio Quartararo was again impressive and replicates the pole he got at Jerez just one month ago! The French with a stunning lap in his second run put his bike in front of everyone and holds off Marc Marquez for just 0.015s, making the difference especially in the last sector.
Reigning World Champion tried everything he could but he almost lost control of his bike during his last attempt, making another crazy save but he could not improve his lap time. Great qualifying session for Maverick Vinales who closes first row.
Franco Morbidelli opens second row ahead of Valentino Rossi, last Yamaha on the grid, and Andrea Dovizioso, who was really fast in the first part of the track but he lost a lot of time in the second one.
7th despite a crash Danilo Petrucci, who is followed by Alex Rins, who had in his hands a great qualifying but he ruined it crashing during his second run when he was doing a fast lap.
