It was an hard race and an intense battle against Marquez and Dovizioso: “When I was in front, I tried to push as much as I could. I knew that if I would have been first at the exit of first corner, I would have had many chances to win the race!”

Danilo had to be really hard with Marquez and Dovizioso both: “I am sad that I had to went wide Andrea, but Marc and Andrea gave me a little space and I decided to go in! I wanted to win at any cost. I thought that someone would have snatched victory in the final straight but it did not happen!”

A great answer to many criticism about him: “I heard everything on me and read all. Someone said also that I should have not even begin my journey with Ducati and I thought ‘Why should I not?’. Others even asked ‘Why Ducati chose Petrucci? There are so many riders free’… well, I showed today why Ducati picked me!”
