Fabio Quartararo is looking great at Mugello being the fastest rider on track during the last session of free practice before qualifying. The French is ahead of Maverick Vinales and Marc Marquez, with the two Yamahas being really fast during the whole session
Alex Rins ended in 4th ahead of Jack Miller and Cal Crutchlow, with the Spaniard who has to pass through Q1 to get the access into Q2 to fight for pole position. Behind this three we have Takaaki Nakagami and Danilo Petrucci, who worked a lot for the race; same story for his teammate Andrea Dovizioso.

Top 10 is closed by Franco Morbidelli who is followed by Aleix Espargaro and Valentino Rossi, 12th with eight tenths of a second of a gap. Going into Q2 would be crucial for him, same for Alex Rins and Andrea Dovizioso, to have a good race.
It is gonna be a crazy and hard Q1, with many top riders fighting for the two spots to go into Q2.
