As reported from Honda rider yesterday, Marc Marquez wants to be on top positions at Mugello too; Italian GP has been a little bit complicated for him during the last two years but reigning World Champion seems to be faster this year and ended the morning with the best performance.

Behind him we have two Ducati, with Danilo Petrucci and wild card Michele Pirro following Championship leader. Danilo found a good lap in his last chance, while Michele did is best one in the first minutes of the session.

Fabio Quartararo is the best Yamaha in 4th with just two tenths of a second of a gap ahead of Aleix Espargaro with his Aprilia, just 0.008s slower than Pirro who is 3rd. Behind them we have Pramac Ducati of Jack Miller ahead of Takaaki Nakagami.

After a positive weekend in France, Pol Espargaro and his KTM seem to be fast also in Italy ending the FP1 in 8th; the Spaniard is followed by Cal Crutchlow and Andrea Dovizioso, who actually take last 2 places for Q2. Out of that for the moment Alex Rins, 11th, and Valentino Rossi, 12th.
