Surely Andrea Dovizioso is not too disappointed with the podium of today’s race as long as he was out of it in Austin and Jerez, considering also that this was not the best weekend for him: “I did a good race, we did not have a great feeling before Sunday. I am happy with the management but we should do more to beat Marc and Honda, they are a bit stronger than us. We should stay focused and see where we can improve”

Dovi had to face his teammate after a great fight without any crazy move: “Fighting with Danilo was nice, he tried everything he could to stay in front of me and he was good enough on not being crazy. Podium was too important for both of us”.

Next race will be Mugello and Andrea won the last two Italians GP: “Our goal will be win the race, we showed a great pace. I think Marc will be able to fight to win also in Mugello, track in which he struggled a lot in the past years. There are a lot of riders who can fight for the victory too”

For the moment Marquez and Honda duo seems unbeatable: “It all depends on how our rivals are improving. Our package is better than last year, but Honda did a great step forward, Suzuki and Yamaha are more competitive than 2018. Over that, Marc and Honda had the possibility to start in front every race and make the rhythm”
