#FrenchGP | Marquez dominates at Le Mans as well, Dovi and Petrucci on the podium!
Third win of the season for Marc Marquez who increases championship lead on his rivals, with the two Ducatis on the podium; Andrea Dovizioso wins the battle with his teammate Danilo Petrucci
Marc Marquez said that this year would have been necessary changing the strategy and so he did also during the Race at Le Mans. Reigning World Champion conquers third win of the season running away from everyone after an initial duel with Jack Miller, who started 3rd and led the race for some laps.

Marquez did not give any single chance to anyone, increasing his gap lap after lap. Ducatis could not do anything to stop the triumphal march of the seven-time world champion, with Andrea Dovizioso who had to accept the 2nd place coming back to podium after two races in which he was out of it. Andrea won the internal duel against Danilo Petrucci, who tried everything he could to overtake his teammate.
First indipendent bike is Jack Miller, with the Australian losing a bit of time on the long distance from the official Ducatis and he is out of the podium ahead of Valentino Rossi. Jack’s start was good and he did also some fast laps putting his bike in front of all but then he lost positions to Marquez, Dovizioso and Petrucci.
Valentino Rossi ended in 5th at the end staying close to Ducatis without having any chance to attack them; nine-time world champion had a good rhythm but not enough to try an overtake. Maverick Vinales had a lot of bad luck on the other side; after a not so well start, the Spaniard was taken out of the race by Francesco Bagnaia.
Not the best race for Alex Rins too, who ended in 10th after a tough Saturday; his gap to the championship leader is not of 20 points after a really hard weekend for him and Suzuki.
Great result for Pol Espargaro and KTM, 6th after the chequered flag ahead of Franco Morbidelli and Fabio Quartararo; french’s race was compromised by first laps, but Fabio had a great rhythm at the end and he also did the record lap of the race.
