Petrucci topped the FP2 session of the Spanish GP, leaving him as the fastest man at the close of day one. In 2nd position, Dovizioso had a successful opening day, followed by Crutchlow in 3rd.
Petrucci topped the FP2 session of the Spanish GP weekend, with a time of 1:37:909. Following closely in second, Dovizioso set a time of 1:38:006. In 3rd position was Crutchlow who set a time of 1:38
Top Honda was Crutchlow who placed 3rd . Marquez placed 4th with a time of 1:38:147. Nakagami placed 8th, with a time of 1:38:414. Lorenzo placed 9th, with a time of 1:38:445. Honda test rider and wildcard, Bradl set a time of 1:38:373, placing him 7th.
Top Yamaha for this session was Viñales who placed 5th, with a time of 1:38:241. Yamaha’s contender for Rookie of the Year¸ Quartararo placed 6th, having set a time of 1:38:370. Rossi set a time of 1:38:681, placing him 14th. Morbidelli set a time of 1:38:900, placing him 18th.
Top Ducati was Petrucci who topped the timesheets. Fellow Mission Winnow Ducati rider Dovizioso placed 2nd. Miller found himself in 11th position, having set a time of 1:38:606. Rabat placed 19th, with a time of 1:39:110. Ducati’s contender for Rookie of the Year, Bagnaia found himself in 10th, setting a time of 1:38:593. Abraham set a time of 1:39:532, placing him 21st after a spill at turn 5, Abraham was lucky to escape injury. MotoGP.com reports that Abraham appeared to lose control on fluid.
Top KTM for FP2, was P. Espargaro with a time of 1:38:635, placing him 12th. Zarco placed 20th, with a time of 1:39:366. Oliveira found himself in 22nd position, having set a time of 1:39:774.
Top Aprilia for this session was Iannone in 13th position, setting a time of 1:38:676. A. Espargaro placed 15th, with a time of 1:38:721. Aprilia test rider and wildcard, Smith, placed 23rd, with a time of 1:39:904. Smith took a nasty fall at Turn 5, after reportedly losing control on fluid, he has been taken to the medical centre for further examination.
Top Suzuki was Rins in 16th with a time of 1:38:747. Mir placed 17th, with a time of 1:38:789.
Top Rookie this session was Quartararo in 6th, he will be looking to improve on his times tomorrow, and set himself up for a strong qualifying session.
