Moto2, Mattia Pasini to replace Jake Dixon in Jerez!
After replacing Augusto Fernandez in Austin for Pons, Mattia Pasini will have another chance to shine in Jerez as long as Jake Dixon is still suffering from the concussion caused by an incident at the Circuit of The Americas

Surely this is not the way you want to ride, but Mattia Pasini, after a great race during the Americas GP, where he replaced an injured Augusto Fernandez for Pons, will have another chance to show his skills and demonstrate that he deserves a seat in the World Championship.
After Austin's race, where Pasini performed really well in his comeback after Valencia 2018 ending in 4th place really close to the podium, it seemed that the Italian was forced to return to his actual role of commentator for Sky Italia.
Jake Dixon's incident, however, changed everything, as long as the Briton has been decleared unfit to race for Spanish GP in Jerez, scheduled for this weekend. Angel Nieto Team rider is still suffering from a concussion caused by his crash during the free practice and the team has been forced to search for a replacement.
The spanish squad went then for Mattia Pasini, who accepted the offer and will then have another seat for another Grand Prix in which he will try to show again his great potential.
For sure this is gonna be another great chance for the Italian, who is still looking for a bike in 2019 but especially for 2020, since Mattia does not want to retire.
