First big surprise was Iker Lecuona and Xavi Vierge out of Q2 as long as they did not have enough speed to get a good lap, so they will have to start from 19th and 20th tomorrow.

Jorge Martin was the fastest rider on track, the only one able to do a lap under the 2.12, ahead of Bo Bendsneyder, Brad Binder and Marco Bezzecchi, with the Italian getting for the first time the access to Q2 this year.

It was then Q2 moment with Marcel Schrotter being the fastest rider on track after a close qualifying; Alex Marquez, second, is just 0.058s slower than him, with Sam Lowes closing the first row with a gap of just two tenths of a second.

Fourth position for Tom Luthi, ahead of Brad Binder and Jorge Navarro, really close to each other.

Mattia Pasini ended in 7th his first rae after Valencia 2018 with a great performance, followed by Q1 leader Jorge Martin, Simone Corsi and Luca Marini.

Championship leader Lorenzo Baldassarri is only 15th with a gap of over one second.
