GP Argentina | Marquez dominates and gets championship lead as Rossi snatches second place from Dovizioso
Marquez won the Argentinian GP dominating from the first lap with an impressive gap to the others; Rossi wins the duel against Andrea Dovizioso and gets his first podium of the season

Marc Marquez was the favourite guy to win the Argentinian GP and so he did, dominating since the start.
The Spaniard had a great start and increased immediatly his lead, followed by Andrea Dovizioso and Jack Miller; Maverick Vinales, 2nd on grid, did not start so well and at the end of first lap was 5th behind his teammate Valentino Rossi.

Fight for the victory, basically, never begins: Marquez with a rythm of 39.5 raises his advantage lap after lap, while Dovizioso, Rossi, Morbidelli and Miller engage a fight for the podium
Unlucky race for Crutchlow, who was fighting with the guys behind Marquez but he had a jump start and he was penalized with a ride through.
With the passing of laps, Andrea Dovizioso and Valentino Rossi were able to put a gap between them and the rivals, with Miller, Vinales, Petrucci and Rins fighting for the 4th position.
Last lap was pure formality for Marquez, while Rossi did a successful overtake on Dovizioso to take second position.
Behind them, Morbidelli strikes out Vinales ending both with a DNF; Miller won the duel against Rins and Petrucci for the 4th position.
