Marc Marquez is looking for his first victory of the season and seems to be the favourite guy during this weekend.
The World Champion has been the fastest rider so far during the first session of practice, being the only rider able to perform a lap under the 1.40.
The Spaniard has been three tenths of a second faster than everyone, considering that Jack Miller, 2nd at the end, has been exactly 0.353s slower than him.
In third we have Qatar podium finisher Cal Crutchlow, with the Briton really close to Miller, considering that there are just 35 thousandths between them.
4th and 5th place for Franco Morbidelli, first Yamaha in the time sheet, and Andrea Iannone; the "Maniac" is suprisingly in top 5 after a tough weekend in Qatar and he is looking for a great result with his new team.
Johann Zarco is 6th with his KTM, ahead of Qatar GP winner Andrea Dovizoso, being five tenths of a second slower than the best performance.
