Today in Barcelona the Russian driver Sergey Sirotkin has confirmed his return in the championship as Third & Reserve Driver of Renault for the season-2019.

The Russian will spend the upcoming season working closely with Nico Hulkenberg and Daniel Ricciardo, and also will combine the role of the Third Driver with performances in WEC championship with SMP Racing.

"I am very pleased to rejoin my friends at Renault F1 Team and return to Formula 1," – Sirotkin said. 

"We are well acquainted with the team, I spent the whole of 2017 in their factory and in the garage. It will be interesting to learn how far Renault has advanced in the development of the car over the past year; last season we were rivals and I could not see the work from the inside," – reports motorsport.com.

"I am pleased to join the team as Third & Reserve Driver and work alongside Nico Hulkenberg and Daniel Ricciardo."

Also, Renault has confirmed Jack Aitken as Test driver of the team, and Guanyu Zhou, Renault Sport Academy driver and F2 driver with UNI-Virtuosi Racing, on a development position.
