Charles Leclerc will drive for Scuderia Ferrari from 2019. The announcement came after weeks of speculations which already gave for sure that the Monegasque would've joined the team.

Charles is only 20 years old and will be one of the youngest ever to drive for Ferrari, as well as the first coming from the Ferrari Driver Academy

If Leclerc move easy to predict, nobody could expect the other move: Kimi Raikkonen, 38 years old, will not retire at the end of the season, but will swap seats with Leclerc: he will come back to the team where he debuted, Sauber, for a two year contract.

Signing Kimi Raikkonen as our driver represents an important pillar of our project, and brings us closer to our target of making significant progress as a team in the near future,” said Sauber Team Principal Frederic Vasseur.

Kimi’s undoubted talent and immense experience in Formula One will not only contribute to the development of our car, but will also accelerate the growth and development of our team as a whole. Together, we will start the 2019 season with a strong foundation, driven by the determination to fight for results that count.
