Monaco GP | Glamour, VIPs and the revenge of the Honey Badger
The Monaco Grand Prix has finally come to an end, even if the party never stops in Monaco. Who is the King today? Obviously him, the Honey Badger.
Sunday is always the most awaited day of a Grand Prix weekend, as it’s the day when points are assigned.
Race days, then, are pretty busy, but Monaco is surely the busiest of all calendar. Not only the paddock is distributed in an unconventional way, but every inch is full of fans ready to catch their idols.
Not just drivers, Monaco is also full of celebrities: from Game of Thrones stars Kit Harington, Nikolaj Waldau and Liam Cunningham, to the most famous “momager” ever Kris Jenner, to supermodels like Bella Hadid, and several ex F1 drivers like Felipe Massa, Jean Eric Vergne or Pastor Maldonado, everyone was here in Monaco to have fun and celebrate.
The Pit Lane was full of people until the very end, when the engines started to roar to get to the grid. Every critic towards this race was right, as few overtaking move were seen on track. Daniel Ricciardo managed to get what was his already two years ago and, after scoring his 2nd career Pole Position, he finally won the Monaco Grand Prix right when his team was celebrating their 250th race.
The top positions didn’t suffer any changes and so happened for the top 3 positions. Daniel, Sebastian and Lewis all found themselves reunited in the press room after a boring, but exhausting race, mostly for Daniel, who managed to finish the race with just 6 gears available.
Pouring one out for the man of the moment, @danielricciardo... 🍾

That didn’t stop him to win the race, do his signature celebration, the Shoey, helped by Lewis Hamilton, and then he even shared his champagne with Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene of Monaco.
The celebrations didn’t stop there, as after the ring interviews, the Aussie celebrated in the Red Bull Energy Station with all his team, doing the Red Bull traditional Monegasque celebration: a cliff in the pool.

Anyway, the race week may be over, but, as I said a million times, the party never stops in Monaco. One team above all will party until tomorrow.
It’s all from Monaco!
