After the interminable 2020 winter break, Formula 1 seems quite happy to have a start date of the new season, even if it will be later than expected. A longer winter break can be useful for the teams, though. While every F1 fond is waiting impatiently to end the long pause, the men in the teams are working non-stop to make their creatures come alive in the best possible way.

One team has nothing more to prove in the sport. The same team who is taking all the time it has to build another perfect car, which will be able to break all the records.

The “Black” Arrow will present the new car on the 2^nd of March 2021. The new single seater will be called W12 and it will wear again the black livery, as a symbol of its commitment in the fight against racism.

“Black lives matter”, the campaign responsible to have changed the iconic silver of the Mercedes cars has been introduced by Lewis Hamilton. But where is he?

Mercedes now has a launch date for the new car, which means it is almost ready, it has confirmed Valtteri Bottas… the only thing that is missing is one driver. Small details, considering that it is “only” the reigning World Champion. The talks on the new deals are going on and on and it is unthinkable to imagine the Brackley - based team to perform without its first driver, as much as it is too weird to figure out a starting grid in which Lewis Hamilton is not there.

Focusing on the car, it promises to have added about twenty-thirty horsepower to its already winning engine and the almost frozen development will be in favour of the Silver Arrow, who dominated the whole season without a single rival.
