F1 | Abu Dhabi GP | Sebastian Vettel: "I want to enjoy my last race with Ferrari"
The German only managed to qualify 13th for what will be his last race with Scuderia Ferrari after five years together
Sebastian Vettel closes his final qualifying session with Scuderia Ferrari in Q2. Once again, the German couldn't reach Q3, and his lap time is only worth the 13th place. The four time world champion will share the 7th row on the grid with Alfa Romeo's Antonio Giovinazzi.
Unfortunately, Sebastian hasn't been so lucky in qualifying this season: he only managed to enter Q3 three times, in the Styrian GP, the Hungarian GP and the first race in Silverstone. The 2020 season has not been easy for Sebastian, who will say goodbye to his team after five years together. The final race in Abu Dhabi will surely be a roller coaster of emotion and the four time world champion is readu to enjoy every lap before he jumps out of his Ferrari for the last time.

“Obviously it is not nice to start my final race with the team from 13th on the grid. The result itself is quite bad, even if I was happy with my own performance on the lap. Maybe putting together the perfect lap would have got me as high as tenth, but no better than that.
"My plan for the race tomorrow is simply to try and do my best. I guess we won’t have an easy race" countinued the German, who couldn't fine the right pace with both the medium and the soft compound.
"I think it will be special since it is the last one - Sebastian added - I want to enjoy this race and feel very close to the people in the garage, the mechanics, the engineers, everyone. It will be very emotional”.
