After missing out in the points in Belgium finishing in P14, a major DNF at Monza and slightly hanging on P8 with four points in Mugello,Ferrari driver, Charles Leclerc says,"Solid race, made a step forward. Feet on the ground, but positive race" after finishing sixth at the Russian GP adding eight points to his drivers standings where he sits currently seventh tied with Racing Point's Lance Stroll.

According to Sky Italia, Charles Leclerc says he has found his piece of mind after finishing sixth in Russia and hints at Ferrari updates in the near future after a complicated mishap day prior during qualifying. Leclerc comments, "It was surprising for us to be competitive in the race - he added - we have to understand why, but it's positive. We are more competitive than other cars. At Mugello it was difficult. We took a step forward. We couldn't try the soft tyre, it was at the limit. We opted for the right strategy, lost some time at the pit stop on Ricciardo. Anyway, nothing is done with the ifs and buts."

With regards to the upcoming major upgrades that Ferrari is testing before the German GP, Leclerc adds, "Updates? It seems we are heading towards the right direction. We will have a major upgrade in Germany, we will see how it goes there.".
