F1 | Tuscan GP | Lucky Hamilton gets the pole as Bottas had to surrender to a yellow flag
The Tuscan Grand Prix's poleman is once again Lewis Hamilton. The Briton has been lucky, followed by Valtteri Bottas who was penalosed by a yellow flag caused by Esteban Ocon. Max Verstappen is third.
The Tuscan GP is going to be dominated by Mercedes once again. Starting from the free practices' sessions, Valtteri Bottas signed the quickest time on the Mugello track and both of the Silver Arrows have leaded the way all the time, ready to come back for another win. Last Grand Prix winner Pierre Gasly indeed had been eliminated during the Q1 and he could not have the chance to build another magic in the second race in Italy, so Mercedes can go back to where it belongs, the first places. Indeed last Grand Prix in Italy was very unlucky for both of them, with Hamilton being penalised for having ignored a flag while entering the pit-lane. The same flag- yellow-this time-which helped him to get faster and gain his 93rd pole.

Valtteri Bottas did an excellent job for all the time but at the moment to give it all a yellow flag stopped him. The Finn decided to not risk anything and he just slowed down and let his teammate Lewis Hamilton conquering another pole position. This means that the Briton could be ready to be the first and only winner of the Tuscan GP.
Max Verstappen is again the first and only one to follow very closely the Mercedeses, qith his third place. He could have done a bit better because the single-seaters are flown away by a string wind on the Tuscan hills. Alex Albon is fourth, showing that Red Bull's last weekend issues are only abad memory. Talking about memories, the Racing Point driver - by now- Sergio Perez proudly outqualifies Lance Stroll (seventh) by getting a sixth place with a car that has no updates. Ahead of the two Racing Point there is the only Ferrari in the Q3, Charles Leclerc 's one. There is to say that even though the two Ferraris this time wore a new livery, the story did not seems that different from the letter Grand Prix. Sebastian Vettel did not made into Q3 once again, qualifying only 14th on the grid for tomorrow. The German seems to be ready to start again wth Racing Point next year, as Ferrari and him seem to have lost teh connection
Daniel Ricciardo ended in a good eighth place, qualifying ahead of Carlos Sainz. The author of the yellow flag Esteban Ocon is the last in the top ten.
