Its the Finnish driver Valtteri Bottas who looks like a man on a mission this weekend as he topped the all three Free Practice session this weekend at Tuscany GP, Mugello.

FP3 was closest of them all as only 0.17s separated Bottas from Max Verstappen at P2 and for only 0.083s Lewis Hamilton was behind his Mercedes team-mate. Battle for pole looks all set between the trio.

Bottas who has already topped both of the previous FP sessions was the first driver to set a flying lap around Mugello, with further improving it to 1m16.530.

Max Verstappen who did his earlier time on medium compound put soft in the ending stages of FP3 to split the Mercedes with a time of 1m16.547.

After a podium at Monza, Racing Point of Lance Stroll looks in great shape at this weekend as well, as he went forth quickest ahead of Italian GP winner Pierre Gasly and team-mate Sergio Perez, who owes to not having updated parts for this weekend that he and Stroll had for tenths between them.

Over a second away from Bottas it was Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc with his team-mate 11 places behind at eighteenth.

Alex Albon in the second Red Bull finished the session eighth fastest ahead of Alfa Tauri of Daniil Kvyat and Haas of Romain Grosjean who completed the top 10.

Esteban Ocon who spent his afternoon testing and fetching times on Mediums improved to eleventh ahead of Mclaren’s Carlos Sainz and Alfa Romeo’s duo of Antonio Giovinazzi and Kimi Raikkonen.

Kevin Magnusen finished the session at p15, one and a half second off the top pace and ahead of Williams of Nicholas Latifi and Renault of Daniel Ricciardo.

Lando Norris at p19 and George Russell at P20 completed the grids position.
