F1 | Spanish GP | Hamilton on pole
Lewis Hamilton beat his teammate Bottas to pole, with Verstappen in third position
The circuit of catalunya has been presumably the last stage of the high-power engine modes qualifying session, before the technical directive which bans them to be applied from the Belgian GP onwards.

Can @LewisHamilton covert it to a 5️⃣th win in Barcelona on Sunday? 🤔 #SpanishGP 🇪🇸 #F1 pic.twitter.com/4F80ot3x2J
Despite the track temperature hitting the 50°C bar, the chase for pole seemed to be a two-horses battle. And it's Lewis Hamilton who ultimately came on top. His first attempt has been enough to secure the 92th pole position in career. He will then share the front row with his teammate Valtteri Bottas, beaten by only 0,059 seconds. Max Verstappen completed the top three qualifier list.
Just returning from his medical leave, Sergio Perez put his Racing Point in 4th, outqualifying his teammate Lance Stroll by 0,107 seconds. The two McLaren of Sainz and Norris respectively got P7 and P8, ahead of Charles Leclerc in P9, and Pierre Gasly in P10.
The Ferrari of Sebastian Vettel will start in P11.
