The Formula 1 organization is implementing strict health measures to prevent the spread of the virus. A screening of the paddock was adopted after three people in it tested positive and among these there is also the Racing Point team driver, Sergio Perez.

The teams have been turned away from each other and entry to the paddock for journalists has been forbidden. Despite the idea of ​​being able to allow fans to watch the Sochi Grand Prix, Alexey Titov announced that the strict measures imposed in the paddock will remain the same and other events that would be held during the race weekend, such as the walk in the pit lane, will be deleted from the program.
