Silverstone is once again at the centre of the action on the track of Formula 1, as the 70^th Anniversary Grand Prix is being held on the historic British circuit.

It’s Valtteri Bottas the poleman of this Grand Prix. The Finn can celebrate the renewal of his deal with Mercedes  by starting in the first spot, ahead of his teammate. In third position there is a great Nico Hulkenberg, who seems finally ready to conquer his first podium tomorrow.

We figured it out that for Hamilton it might have been more difficult on this Saturday to conquer another pole- position as it seems like he was suffering for the powerful wind that there is on the track, as we know that in Silverstone the weather is often very much unpredictable.

In Red Bull there was a polemic air, due to the fact that Max Verstappen stated he prefers the yellow tyre and its team is very attentive in studying these performances, very well aware of the tyre- explosions that have characterized last weekend race on the British track as well. The Dutch driver, though, used the soft tyres at the end of the Q3 session in the purpose to steal a pole from the two Black Arrows’ hands but he had to be content with a fourth position.

Sebastian Vettel is still fighting with his SF1000 as he struggles in dominating a perfect control of his single-seater. He could not reach the Q3 either and this prepares him to another breathless race for tomorrow. Daniel Ricciardo is finally able to come back where he belongs- The Australian confirms a great shape of his Renault and conquering a  fifth position.

Ferrari is confirming a slow path, with Leclerc in eighth position and Vettel in the back of the grid.

Tomorrow we may experience another thrilling race and we are ready to watch it.
