F1 | 70th Anniversary GP | Hamilton leads FP2 ahead of Bottas and Ricciardo
The second session of the 70th Anniversary GP watches Hamilton leading ahead of his teammate and of Ricciardo
The 70th Anniversary Grand Prix will be race in Silverstone as well. This means that teams are better prepared as they already know how their single-seaters react on that track.
Mercedes shows that its streaming of domination is not about to finish as Lewis Hamilton is still the leader with a great timing of 1.25.606. The second best is Valtteri Bottas, who is fresh of a new contract with the Silver Arrow for the next season and who wants to prove that he deserves this.
The third classified is Daniel Ricciardo on his Renault, who scored a time of 1.26.421. The fourth is very close to the Australian, and it is his former teammate Max Verstappen on his Red Bull.
The two Racing Points, with Stroll preceding Hulkenberg, occupy the fifth and sixth position.
Charles Leclerc made it to place his Ferrari at the seventh place, scoring a time of 1.26.812, while his teammate Sebastian Vettel had to be content with a disappointing 14th position on the grid.
In the eighth and ninth positions there are the two McLarens, with Lando Norris preceding Carlos Sainz with a timing of 1.26.867.

The last driver of the top team schedule is Esteban Ocon on his Renault.
Tomorrow we are going to assist not only at the last session of Free Practices but on Qualifying as well. It will be interesting to watch Mercedes keeping the lead or if something could happen again to shake things up, even just a little. It is plausible though, that even the race of the 70th Anniversary will be once again dominated by Lewis Hamilton
