F1 | British GP | Vettel: "It can't get much worse"
The performance of the two SF1000s is very different, proving that the car is able to score fast laptimes but it can also be extremely unreliable.
It is clear that Ferrari fell off its state of grace of being the second team in the world of Formula 1. The Prancing Horse is struggling to keep the pace of “medium” ranked teams such as Racing Point and McLaren.
On the Silverstone track the Maranello-based team had no luck. Sebastian Vettel’s car had a lot of technical struggles - the inter cooler at first and the breaks. The German looks exhausted by these problems.

Yesterday, we didn't get much running, not many quality laps, and this morning, we had another small issue. So yeah, not ideal, but equally, I thought the car was okay.
"I struggled to put it together. So I think it's probably more me just making sure everything comes together. So not a good good session, but let's see what we can do tomorrow.” He adds to Sky: “ tomorrow we’ll be on the wrong tyres at the end of the queue, at the end of the top 10, so it won't be a piece of cake."
Charles Leclerc, on the other hand, had some difficulty during the Free Practices but during the qualifying he stroke a wonderfully fast lap which almost gave him the second grid behind the two Mercedes.

It recounted a faster Verstappen to occupy that place at last. The Monegasque does thank his team for the speedy car he had the opportunity to drive today. Actually, the real question is: what kind of car should we expect on the grid tomorrow?
