The second line is composed by Max Verstappen who brings his Red Bull on the temporary podium in their own circuit and Sergio Perez on his Racing Point. The Mexican is catching up every chance he has to go ahead and his team looks very fast and consistent as it is trying to put their name on the podium of the first race of the 2020 season. Charles Leclerc ends up in 5th place. The Monegasque proved that his SF1000 is not that slow as it seemed to be during the other two sessions. Behind them there is the other Red Bull with Alex Albon.
Sebastian Vettel, instead, is only at the sixth place of the standings. Once again, though, the Maranello based team shows it has some space of growth and a slight improvement. Could it be a contestant for the podium in this Austrian Grand Prix?
Looking at these results, we could expect a very various and entertaining qualifying but only for the third place, as Lewis Hamilton have finished ahead of everyone even with some driving mistakes committed during the session.
While Mercedes looks quick and confident its new black livery and has a strong W11, the Racing Point is showing its renewed potential, confirming the good impression it gave the crowd back in February, during the pre-seasonal tests.
