Sergio Perez to remain at Racing Point until 2022
The Mexican has signed a long-term deal to stay in the sport for the foreseeable future.
Today's announcement that Sergio Perez has penned a new deal with Racing Point confirms another seat on the grid for the 2020 season.
He's driven for the Silverstone-based team since 2014 and will continue to do so for another three years.
The partnership has certainly been a massive success to this point. Perez has scored 5 podiums with the team and finished best of the rest in the Drivers' Championship in both 2016 and 2017. His consistency and race pace against various teammates is proof that his new three-year deal is well-deserved.
