Austrian GP | Provisional starting grid with Hamilton fourth and Norris fifth
Lewis Hamilton will start in fourth position as Kevin Magnussen's grid penalty will give an extra position to the fifth time world champion. McLaren's Lando Norris will be fifth on the grid, just behind the Mercedes driver.

Many penalties were assigned to the drivers this weekend after qualifying, with the recalculation of the starting grid that has put into crisis fans, experts and even drivers. Almost everyone was involved in this kind of misunderstanding, as even the official Formula 1 account on Twitter referred yesterday to Lewis Hamilton as starting P5. Lando Norris also tweeted about his fourth position on the grid, his best career result yet.
Fourth. FOURTH!

Here is the long list of penalties, with six drivers involved:
- Carlos Sainz and Alexander Albon will start from the back of the grid due to the use of multiple power unit elements.
- Nico Hulkenberg will have a 5 place grid penalty due to engine replacement.
- Kevin Magnussen will have a 5 place grid penalty due to gearbox replacement.
- Lewis Hamilton and George Russell will have a 3 place grid penalty for impeding another driver during first qualifying session (Kimi Raikkonen and Daniil Kvyat respectively).
