Friday's free practices sessions of the Canadian Grand Prix showed a Ferrari finally able to compete against Mercedes. Will it be the same on Saturday and Sunday?

The start of the season showed a Ferrari often fast on Friday, which does not make Free Practice 2 result necessarily decisive, but still the symbol of a track theoretically favorable to the Maranello team. The Monegasque is proving to be very fast and able to put a big pressure to his four-time world champion teammate, but he must be able to realize his talent by bringing home the result. His race in Monaco has certainly warmed the hearts of the fans, but it is necessary to be able to exploit the speed of the SF90 in the streets of Montreal to aim for the first victory of his career in Formula 1.

The championship standings this season see a profoundly different situation, probably compromised in a definitive way. Nevertheless, the Maranello team cannot afford to give up and must recover the gap from the opponents in such a way as to attempt a desperate recovery, given that we are only one third of the length of the championship. Will Leclerc and Vettel be able to reverse the situation, starting with securing a front row lock-up for the start of the race at the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve?
