As F1 Media's twitter account reports, Nico Rosberg lent his personal world champion pass to his cameraman in China. Rumours concerning a two-race ban quickly sprouted, but the official media account set the record straight over the matter.
The former Mercedes driver's cameraman was spotted on the Shanghai grid wearing Rosberg's pass. The broadcast operator was promptly escorted out of the starting grid, where access is strictly limited.
Rosberg has been assiduously attending the F1 paddock as a pundit and commentator since his retirement. He will be rejoining the F1 Circus at Round 6 at Monte Carlo, as he was already supposed to miss Azerbaijan and the Spanish rounds, which eventually added fuel to the rumours over a sanction following his actions.
