The third free practice is over in Baku. It was much calmer than Friday sessions. Yesterday the teams didn’t have opportunity to work on maximum level and do all racing programs, so today’s session hardly can show the real results of teams and drivers.

So, the leader is still Ferrari and more interesting it is Leclerc. Yesterday Scuderia had the same results in FP1 (not an evaluation criterion actually) and FP2. The team brought some updates in Baku, and it seems it works out well so far.

Mercedes is continuing to manage with the tyres. As Bottas said yesterday they still didn’t find the best way to work with the compounds at Baku circuit. Yesterday Lewis Hamilton and Valtteri Bottas were the 3^th and 5^th respectively, but today they lost one position to Max Verstappen. Lewis Hamilton has flew off the track few times, what could be the reason for only P5. But as we know, in qualifying Mercedes can surprise everyone, so the results of FP3 may not be the true.

Another good session had Toro Rosso. Despite the big crash in FP2, Daniil could keep the P6 yesterday, and has showed the same result today. Alex Albon also had a good practice, setting the 8^th time again.

It seems like Renault has big issues at Baku. Yesterday the performance of Renault drivers was frankly poor. Today Ricciardo has taken P11, which actually isn’t better than yesterday’s P15. Nico Hulkenberg also didn’t improved results – only P16 for today.

Pierre Gasly, who will start tomorrow race from the pit lane, had used the session to focus on race set-up, so he has finished it at the last place, while Max Verstappen has managed to separate Mercedes from Ferrari, taking P3.

Kimi Raikkonen and Antonio Giovinazzi from Alfa Romeo have finished the practice sessions ahead of many teams with P10 (Raikkonen) and P12 (Giovinazzi).
