Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP’s Viñales took pole position after setting a time of 1:31.411, just pipping fellow Yamaha rider Morbidelli who set a time of 1:31.723. Championship leader, Quartararo will start tomorrow’s #SanMarinoGP from 3^rd position, with a time of 1:31.791.

Home hero, Rossi, delighted fans qualifying 4^th after a thrilling time attack, which left Yamaha with their first top 4 lock-out in the current MotoGP era. Miller impressed throughout qualifying, placing 5^th, ahead of Pramac Racing teammate, Bagnaia, who makes his return from injury at his home grand prix.

The Team SUZUKI ECSTAR duo qualified on the 3^rd row, with Rins in 7^th and Mir in 8^th. Championship contender Dovizioso will have to start tomorrow’s #SanMarinoGP from 9^th on the grid. Esponsorama Racing’s Zarco completes the top 10, continuing his impressive form.

Notable names starting further down the order include the most recent race winner Oliveira, who will start from 11^th, Nakagami starting from 14^th and Binder, who will start from 16^th.
