Sebastian Vettel is back after missing the first two races of the season. The German attended the driver´s press conference on Friday for the first time this year and talked about his return.

Seb explained that he is feeling fine compared to two weeks ago. And talked about his feelings on watching someone else driving his car. It was the first time the German was absent from the grid since 2007.

“It was strange to watch. But at the same point, I felt that I had races where I was feeling a bit ill and raced, but this time it was not possible.

"It was definitely the right decision and strange to watch.”

He went on to explain his feelings on being a spectator.

“[It was] interesting to see how it looks from the outside. Nico, I think did really well, obviously with zero preparation, to jump in and do that kind of job. And I was part of all the meetings, briefings, listening to the drivers all the time. So, tried to make the most of it, but it was a bit strange.”

The four-time World Champion is well aware that he will have to an intense catch up and that the weekend won´t be a walk in the park for him.

“It's not a secret we are not where we want to be. And it's clear, if you're at the back, then you're never where you want to be. So, a lot of work ahead of us.”

However, he keeps a positive mindset and said “we will try to learn more this weekend and get a further understanding of the difficulties and struggles that we have with the car.”

The Aston Martin driver doesn´t sound worried about losing two weekends and the disadvantage it may imply.

“We had a decent test, and more tests than last year in a way. And it's not too long ago, but for sure I missed the race rhythm. You know, it's obviously a disadvantage not to have had those two races and race with these cars. But , I think it will be okay. I've done this before, so should be OK.”

Vettel is known for giving women's names to his cars. Fans have had to wait longer this year to learn what´s the name of his new Aston and apparently will have to wait a little more. Vettel explained that there´s no name yet and added “I’ll wait for a bit more pace before I think of a name. Maybe we take a little bit more time than usual.”
