Valtteri Bottas is the fastest in FP2, ahead of Lewis Hamilton and of Max Verstappen. Albon, Norris, Ocon, Perez, Leclerc, Ricciardo and Stroll are the drivers that complete the first ten positions.

Both the Mercedes and the Red Bull proved to be in a really good shape. The silver arrows conquered the first row, while the Red Bull the second one.

Much more difficulties for Ferrari, with Leclerc the fastest of the two drivers placing the car in eighth position, while Sebastian Vettel ended only fifteenth.

Kimi Raikkonen's Alfa Romeo caught fire after a breakdown of the power unit, without luckily any problem for the driver. Raikkonen was so forced to end early his FP2. The race directors stopped the session with the red flag until Raikkonen's car was removed off the track.

In addition to this, Ferrari team principal Mattia Binotto returned to Italy for health problems, that were not in any case related to the Coronavirus. He will not be present in the paddock for the rest of the weekend.

Lewis Hamilton returns today in the paddock after the absence of last week, since he fortunately tested negative for Coronavirus after he was found positive before the Bahrain GP.

At Haas, Fittipaldi went on track alongside Kevin Magnussen, since Romain Grosjean had been forced to end his season after the terrible incident in Bahrain. Fittipaldi ran off track more or less at half session, without anyway causing damages to the car.
